Who are we
Track & Field Club
The VA House of Speed program was designed to offer exceptionally talented and committed athletes in our track & field program the ability to compete on a wider, national scale, particularly through the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) Junior Olympics in ages 7 to 18 years old.
Our program caters for all available track distances and field events (including throwing events). The goal of the VA House of Speed is to give individualized instruction, maximize the development of our student-athletes, and provide opportunities for personal growth both on and off the track.
Coaches
The VA House of Speed coaches all have collegiate Track & Field experience, and they have been coaching student-athletes for years before the formation of the club. Some of the coaches’ accomplishments include:
- Athletes of the University of Michigan, West Point, George Mason University & US Air Force Academy
- Big-Ten All-American track athlete
- Head Sprints & Field Event Coach at a local high school
- National HS Champion in the 400M

Competitions require travel during the fall and spring seasons, culminating in the AAU Junior Olympics and Track & Field National Championships.
Practice
The VA House of Speed builds our athletes physically, psychologically, and socially. We practice 4-5 days each week in various locations in northern Virginia, just south of Washington, DC.
Develop solid athletes
The VA House of Speed builds our athletes physically, psychologically, and socially. Using athletics, we offer and teach student-athletes respect, responsibility, and trust.

VA House of Speed
The VA House of Speed (VAHoS) is registered as the VA House of Speed under the Amateur Athletic Association (AAU) Junior Olympics, and we engage in competitions sanctioned by both AAU and USA Track and Field (USTAF).
